The international music competition Three Americas Music Competition focuses on the music of the three Americas. It proposes a repertoire that draws attention to composers who were born or have acquired citizenship in the countries on the American continent.
There are many musical treasures on the American continent that enrich our universal cultural heritage but are in danger of being forgotten or lost altogether in globalisation. Counteracting this development is the first goal of the competition. The organisers would like to highlight and promote the lesser known and unknown composers from North, Central and South America. The proposed repertoire inspires people to discover them.
Three Americas Music Competition is an international music competition for musicians of all ages and from all countries.
The competition is open to violin & piano, viola & piano and cello & piano duos.
It is held online in five categories in two competition rounds each.
The participants choose their repertoire from the music of the three Americas.
The scores of the selected works and the videos of their recordings will be sent to the jury.
