2020 PianoTexas International Festival & Academy
Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven and the 210th Anniversary of Frédéric Chopin.
Application deadline: 2nd March (Monday), 2020 for all programs
The Academy will present three programs:
Young Artists – June 1 to 28 (24 performers selected receiving full tuition scholarships – concerto with Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra)
Juniors – June 11 to 21 (24 performers will be selected – introducing concerto performance with Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra)
Teachers/Amateurs – May 31 to June 9. The program will include chamber music (Trios and Sonatas) and piano duets for two pianos and one piano four hands).
Deadline for application: Monday, March 2, 2020 for all programs
Announcement of performers: Monday, April 6, 2020
Both the “Young Artists” and “Juniors” (up to 18 years old) programs offer the opportunity of performing a concerto with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, along with appearing in recitals and receiving master classes and private lessons by the superb faculty of international performers and piano teachers.
