Age groups
The competition is held in different age groups. The year of birth will be used for the classification into the respective age group.
Age group I: years of birth 2014-2017
Age group II: years of birth 2011-2013
Age group III: years of birth 2008-2010
Age group IV: years of birth 2005-2007
Age group V: years of birth 2002-2004
Age group VI: years of birth 1998-2001

for the participation in the 8th International Béla Bartók Piano Competition 2024
The International Béla Bartók Piano Competition is organized by the Johann-Joseph-Fux-Conservatory of the province of Styria in Graz and organized by the "Béla Bartók Internationale Musikgesellschaft Österreich" with its headquarters in Vienna.
It will take place from January 27th to February 4th, 2024 in Graz, Austria.
