PANNÓNIA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

The world is opening up for citizens of the University of Szeged with the Pannónia Scholarship Program.

With the Pannónia Scholarship Program, valuable international and unforgettable experiences await students and teachers of SZTE outside and within Europe, in almost any country in the world. The amount of support can be up to 400,000 HUF per month.

The Scholarship Program offers both short- and long-term mobilities, and provides the opportunity for university students, professors and staff to study, research, teach or complete a professional internship abroad. The first project phase that began in 2024, started with a grant of 10 billion HUF, which provides 8,000 higher education students, professors and staff with many opportunities for mobility abroad. Among them, 200 students can study at the world's best universities with scholarships of excellence.

Students of the University of Szeged can study abroad within the framework of several mobility programs regarding the academic year of 2024/2025. Short-term (5-30 days) or long-term (2-12 months) studies, internships or post-diploma internships can be achieved in all countries of the world with the support of the Pannónia Scholarship Program, for which students can submit an application to the coordinator of their own institute.

The Pannónia Scholarship Program also provides support for presenting research conferences. Currently, from the University of Szeged you can apply to 570 partner institutions. The amount of the scholarship support varies depending on the destination country and the type of mobility you choose, and may include additional support, such as tuition compensation or social benefits.

Depending on the destination country, the amount of the scholarship for long-term student mobility can reach 400,000 HUF per month. Since the SZTE is a University of research, one of the most popular categories is the mobility for research purposes. In the case of professional internships and short study mobilities, the application possibilities are continuous. Concerning the short-term traning applications, you can apply for the 2nd semester of the academic year.

The program guarantees students the recognition of their credits earned abroad: the activities completed during the student's mobility must be accepted by the sending institution and must fully comply with the curriculum structure.

All further information is available on SZTE's own Pannonia website.
